AXIS: Reactive Wall for Dense Living

Architectural Robotics (DEA 6210) Final Project

I designed, built and showcased an actuated tambour wall able to extrude and retract a platform at varying height. Depth and gesture sensors connected to an Arduino were used to allow for real-time control of the wall. Various lights were used to better aesthetics and indicate wall states and movements.

The Final Report describes design decisions in detail.
